The first stop for Miss Chew-Mee's Misguided Tours was Salt River Canyon located on the White Mountain Apache Reservation http://www.wmat.nsn.us/ . We had to be quick because the charge was $15 per person per day. It was well worth it, but we only had time for a quick dip as we trek onward to Canyon de Chelly. (Click to Enlarge all Pics)
All of the sudden Louise screams, "Holy Shit! Here comes a ranger! Let's make like a banana and split!" Once back on the road Louise confessed there was no ranger, she just wanted to leave so we could get a drink. Little did she know, we were only heading deeper into the "Dry Land".....To be Continued
